chronic pain evaluation
With over sixteen years of experience treating chronic pain, orthopedic injuries and neurological conditions, we will work to help you attain your goals. Your first visit will include a thorough evaluation of your condition. We will take the time to truly listen to you, work with you to develop appropriate goals and begin treatment on day one to get you on the right track to recovery.
dry needling
Dry needling is a manual therapy technique in which a certified clinician uses a monofilament needle to release myofascial trigger points. Dry needling has been shown to reduce pain, minimize muscular tension and enhance healing.
TMJ/tmd
Do you suffer from chronic facial pain or daily headaches? Do you wake up feeling tired and sluggish? Have you been told that you clench or grind your teeth? If you can answer yes to any of these questions, you may suffer from TMJ Dysfunction which is one of the leading causes of pain. Our therapist has specialized training in TMJD and craniomandibular assessment and can help you effectively manage this pain.
THERAPY FOR MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
Our therapist is a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist with a specific skill set designed to meet the needs of the client with MS. Due to the variety of impairments that can result from MS, physical therapy treatments must be tailored to the specific individual with care from a therapist that is knowledgable about this neurological disease.
vestibular rehabilitation
Vestibular therapy is a specialized therapy that is designed to treat inner ear disorders. Our therapist has over ten years experience in treating vestibular conditions and can help to reduce dizziness and improve your balance without exacerbating your symptoms beyond the appropriate levels.

MeetThe Therapist
SANDRA FINNEGAN, PT, MSPT, MSCS
Originally from Florida, Sandra graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2007 with her degree in Physical Therapy. She has practiced in a variety of settings in the Raleigh-Durham area including outpatient orthopedic and neurological rehab, home health, assisted living and acute care.
Sandra has over sixteen years of experience treating chronic pain, neurologic conditions and orthopedic conditions, including neck and back pain, sciatica, TMJD and other joint pathologies. A running enthuiasist, Sandra has completed marathons, half marathons and numerous other races over the past 20 years. Her experience in running as well as her physical therapy training allows for a focused approach to rehabilitation of the injured athlete.
